How Little Explorers Started
Little Explorers Educare, founded in 2016 by Kulsum Bibi Gany in Kimberley, is a private Early Childhood Development Centre driven by a passion for fostering goodness, hope, and positive change. Kulsum, a wife, mother of four, and dedicated servant of her Creator, holds a Master’s Degree in Tourism and Events Management and has over 15 years of experience in education. After identifying a lack of childcare options for children under 4 in Kimberley, Kulsum established Little Explorers Educare to fill this gap, combining her educational background and love for children.
Starting with just 8 children and 2 staff members in a small Wendy house, Little Explorers has grown steadily through commitment and care. By 2019, it served over 30 children with a dedicated team of 5 staff. The centre’s mission is to nurture courage, creativity, resilience, and meaningful connections in children and families, fostering a mindset of curiosity and exploration.
